Tim Herren, Judge

Postby KID » Fri Jan 22, 2010 1:11 pm

Just found out that Tim Herren, Yukon (OK) FFA Vo-Ag Instructor will be judging our county fair swine show this year. Would like to find out if anyone else has seen him judge, how he judges, what he likes in a market hog as well as showmanship. From what I can find on the internet, he has been the coach of a very successful FFA livestock judging team. Thanks.

he likes his pigs wide, sound, muscular, but not "arnold schwartzenager" muscular. He likes them to have cover, and balance. He is not political, and he looks at the pigs, not the people showing them. Good Luck! He is a great judge.
